Senior Peoples Democratic Party leader Sartaj Madni Thursday resigned from the post of deputy speaker of the Jammu nad Kashmir state assembly in protest against the reported remarks made against him by the speaker.
Jammu nad Kashmir chief minister, Omar Abdullah made an emphatic statement on the floor of the state assembly saying that 'the political issue of Jammu and Kashmir was a reality and cannot be changed.'
